Thursday, January 19, 2006Parla Ping Sketched in Outfits 10, 11  Made these sketches while listening to a lecture on global climate change. All I remember is a few words from the lexicon, like troposphere, albedo, Coriolis force and the like. There were wonderful full-color PowerPoint displays, some animated, plus a few photos of Antarctica ... An artist friend of mine who also loves paper dolls has already made 6 sketches of wonderful new outfits for Parla. Also, I asked 3 women friends to give me ideas, whether descriptions, sketches or both. I'm thinking of Katy Keene and other paper doll comics, this is how they worked.Labels: image posted at
