I'm no fan of the noise pollution (sorry, bikers), but they do make wonderful drawing exercises. Inspired by the new book of Tennessee Williams' notebooks, I've just organized my 1/4-page notes and daybooks for the past seventeen years. They make a stack about 8.5 inches tall. (The Tennessee Williams book is very thick as well, and runs over eight hundred pages.) I've selected some drawings of interest from my notebook archive and will be posting them over the next few days or weeks. Labels: image |
