Saturday, May 05, 2007Patterns, 05-05-07, 11:52 am Was inspired to do a bit of patterning after reading about/viewing rakusu and kesa images (Zen Buddhist vestments). I asked an acquaintance of mine about the textile designers she'd known when studying design marketing. "They were very competitive," she said. "Cutthroat." I guess that's the short answer to, "Why aren't you a textile designer?" The original motif can be seen in the upper lefthand corner. Labels: pattern posted at
