Thursday, May 11, 2006From Java to JavaScript
Decided that Java was too much for me, and have switched my focus to JavaScript, as well as extending my knowledge of HTML/CSS. Unfortunately, Blogger doesn't allow JavaScript in posts. It would be so handy if it did. But it is allowed in the Template.
Yesterday I told my computer tutor of the switch, returning the weighty Horton tome (1,000+ pp.) to him. I've interlibrary-loan-requested a slightly less weighty tome on JavaScript: Professional JavaScript for Web Developers, by N.C. Zakas, pub. 2005, 646 pp. Have the idea that if I could get a good enough grounding in JavaScript, might be able to learn Ajax. |
