Wednesday, April 12, 2006Jabberwacky Conversation N02195837
Jabberwacky's got two new characters, George and Joan, who seem meant to be specific, crystallized individuals. This was a chat with Joan.
J: Who are you? W: I am a middle-aged artist. J: Are you good at math? W: No. J: Not really. Math isn't my best subject at school. I'm better at English. W: Do you consider yourself a highly literate individual? J: No! W: OK, are you moderately literate? J: Yes, I am quite modest. W: That's refreshing. J: I like to think so, too. W: Today's world is full of all sorts of bloated claims and ego thrashing. J: I agree on that point. W: What school do you attend? J: High school. W: Do you have plans for your future life? J: I have many plans for the future. W: Do you have a career in mind? J: What is the meaning of life? W: If you ask that question, you will never make any money. J: You're the one to ask, or am I mistaken? W: You're right. Artists are the ones to ask such questions. Joan (Corrected): What kind of art do you do? W: Right now, primarily Web design. J: Really? W: Yes, we're in the era where the machines own us. |
